Nice Day For A Sulk
Oh man. Oh MAN. I got back Monday from possibly the most epic road trip ever. To summarize (for the lazy): San Francisco was cool the few hours I was there, but goddamn STEEP. Sacramento caught me off gaurd and is really awesome. Oregon is gorgeous, but by far the foggiest state in the country. Washington is fun, beautiful, and expensive. Canada: fuck the metric system. Tomorrow Is A Long Time
Yesterday I was laid off from my job at Zappos after 2 years and 2 months. Although they gave us a severance package (we’re receiving paychecks through the end of the year), yesterday seemed surreal. I haven’t cried, but I got a little choked up. The people at Zappos were a second family. It hasn’t hit me yet, and I’m sure it will, just how odd it will be not to see these...
